Assessments
To ensure each athlete is progressing appropriately throughout the program, all athletes complete three 75-minute assessments during the training year.
-
Initial Assessment – September: Initial assessments will be conducted with every athlete individually in the first week of the program.
-
Mid-Program Assessment – December/January
-
Final Performance Evaluation – April
*Both Mid and Final Assessments will be conducted in small groups of no more than four athletes.

Initial Assessment – September
-The Initial Assessment is designed to establish a complete baseline profile for each athlete. This assessment helps us identify:
-
Strengths and physical capabilities
-
Mobility and movement limitations
-
Stability and coordination
-
Body composition
-
Areas of weakness or movement deficiencies
Using this information, we create an individualized training approach that best supports the athlete’s long-term athletic development and golf performance goals.

Mid-Program Assessment – December/January
-The Mid-Program Assessment allows us to measure progress and evaluate how the athlete is responding to training. During this reassessment, we:
-
Compare current performance to the initial baseline
-
Evaluate improvements in strength, mobility, and movement quality
-
Identify any remaining weaknesses or limitations
-
Adjust training programs when necessary to ensure continued progress
This process ensures athletes continue developing effectively throughout the off-season.

Final Performance Evaluation – April
-The Final Performance Evaluation is completed before the start of the golf season. The purpose of this assessment is to ensure athletes are physically prepared for competition by evaluating:
-
Strength and power development
-
Mobility and movement efficiency
-
Overall athletic readiness
-
Physical preparedness for the demands of the golf season
Our goal is for every athlete to enter the season stronger, healthier, and fully prepared to perform at their highest level.

Collaboration with Golf Coaches
We believe optimal athletic development happens when all performance staff are aligned. With that in mind, we are happy to collaborate with each athlete’s golf coach when appropriate.
With permission from the athlete and/or parent, we will communicate and coordinate with the golf coach to ensure training supports technical development, competitive goals, and in-season or off-season programming needs. This helps create a more complete and unified approach to the athlete’s overall performance.
Guest Speakers
During the off-season, our program will feature educational seminars led by a variety of industry professionals focused on supporting your child’s athletic development and overall performance. These sessions will provide valuable insights into optimizing performance both during the competitive season and throughout the off-season. Guest speakers may include mental performance coaches, registered dietitians, recovery specialists, and other experienced professionals in the field of athlete development..
